If you want to give access to the AI Builder

The AI Builder allows you to create materials like battlecards, objection cards, and analyses using AI trained on your company’s data and real conversations.

To give team members access, edit their permission profile and mark the AI Builder permission. Learn more

If you work with Engage flows

Define a ruleset that removes all account contacts from flows. Learn more

If you want to trigger an Engage flow according to dates

Trigger flows based on date conditions, such as starting a flow a few days before or after a contract start date. Learn more

If you use consent profiles and Microsoft Outlook

Add multiple providers to a single consent profile. Team members who schedule meetings with Microsoft Outlook can choose any of the providers from the consent profile to obtain consent to record the meeting. Learn more

October

  • If you use Microsoft Copilot: Connect Gong to Microsoft Copilot so that Copilot answers now include Gong call data. Connect Gong to Microsoft Copilot

  • If you use MS Teams: Configure the Gong bot to be an authenticated MS Teams user so that Gong can avoid security blocks when recording calls. Learn more

  • If you use Engage and want to customize Email opt-out: Customize the way customers can opt-out of getting emails. Learn more

  • If you set up an integration with the Flow API: The post /v2/flows/prospects/assign has been updated so that you can configure flow steps via the api when you assign prospects to a flow

  • New permission limiting export of deal board data: The Deals data permission has been added permission profiles. This lets you limit who can export deals data from the deal board. By default, this permission is enabled for anyone who has one of the following 3 permissions:

    • In the Pages section: Deals > Create, edit, and delete boards

    • In the Pages section: Forecast > Manage Forecast board; assign targets.
      Permissions for Deals and Forecast.

    • In the Business settings section: Manage Revenue analytics
      Permissions for revenue analytics and dashboard creation.

    The permission will be disabled for all other profiles. To enable it, see Set up a permission profile.

  • New CRM export status report: Get details on which Gong activities were exported to the CRM with the CRM export status report. Learn more

  • Changes to the Gong data cloud:

    • Improvements to the USER_CRM_IDS and CONVERSATION_PARTICIPANTS tables

    • New columns in the SCORECARD_ANSWERS table

Gong previously auto-selected the most frequently used drilldown views for these metrics. Now, you can determine the default drill down view of each basic metric. Learn more

If you use auto-checkout for team members automatically provisioned: You will no longer automatically be billed when the number of provisioned team members exceeds the number of seats available. Instead, the seats will be assigned and your CSM will contact you for approval.

If you use API keys: Admins will be alerted when API keys are about to expire.

If you want to use Zoom Phone in Engage: Add the Zoom Phone dialer under Company Settings > Dialer setup. Then, complete the Zoom Phone setup to activate the dialer. Learn more

If you set up dashboards for revenue analytics: You need Manage revenue analytics permissions. These have been added to all permission profiles where Manage forecast board and upload targets was enabled.

To view dashboards, you need Dashboard permissions. This has been added to all permission profiles with the Forecast page permission enabled. Learn more

If you save your Engage prospect’s “do not contact” status in a custom field in your CRM: You can now sync the value with Gong. In Company settings > Engage CRM setup, select the custom field for the Opt out status for contacts and leads. Learn more

New default Engage setting for contact and leads in multiple flows: By default, contacts and leads can be active in multiple flows at the same time. If you want to disable this, go to Company settings > Flows settings. Learn more

If you export Engage flow data to Salesforce or HubSpot: Define the Date Added to Engage Flow and Currently in Engage Flow custom fields in Salesforce contacts and leads and in HubSpot contacts. Learn more: Salesforce custom fields and HubSpot custom fields.

If you want to add Slack notifications to streams: Add Slack notifications for any type of stream, in both personal and company libraries.

If you want to enable a weighted overall score question in your scorecards: When creating or editing a scorecard, select the automatically scored overall question and follow the instructions to give weights to scorecard questions.

Email connection alerts: Get notified in Gong when there’s a problem with a team member’s connection to their email provider

Set web conference calls to private by default: Ensure privacy for specific team members by setting calls they host as private by default. Set this via Team member provisioning or in the Team members page with the new Set all future web conferences as private setting. When set, this applies to new calls, not existing ones. Learn more

If you want to associate activities to parent or other related accounts: Associate accounts with parent or other related accounts automatically via the activity association settings. Learn more

If you want to restrict email import according to email prefix: In your company’s Data protection & privacy settings page, create a list of email prefixes. Emails with these prefixes won’t be imported to Gong. Learn more

If you export Engage flow data to Salesforce or HubSpot: Flow status values changed to include full details of the prospect status. Update your Salesforce reports or queries that use the flow status. See new flow status details.

If you change your activity assocation settings: When association settings are updated, new settings can be applied to existing activities from the last 30 days.
