To align the Gong data cloud and Utilization report with the call brief, data related to call spotlight usage is now available via call briefs metrics such as reviewing call highlights. In addition, the call review metric covers actions such as reviewing the call highlight, listening to a call, or commenting on a call.
As a result, the following fields are deprecated and will later be removed from the Utilization report and the Gong data cloud.

Use the call review column instead:
# of calls reviewed: Includes opening a call, commenting on a call, and viewing the call highlights.

Deprecation timeline
Step 1: Columns contain 0
Starting February 15th 2026, the columns will contain a value of 0. This gives you time to update any reports that rely on these fields.
Step 2: Columns are removed
In April 2026, the columns will be removed from the Utilization report and the Gong data cloud. Update any reports that reference these fields before this date in order to avoid errors once the fields are removed.
