    My Notifications

    Users can manage their own notifications in Gong to receive updates on calls, comments, and deal board digests. By selecting "My notifications" under their username, users can customize their preferences. For calls, users can receive summaries of web conference calls and team calls via email. Activity digests provide daily or weekly schedules of calls. Stream alerts notify users of new calls in public streams. Saved filters alert users to new comments. Deal board digests offer daily updates on subscribed boards. Team coaching notifications are available for team members. Gong Engage provides daily actions for deal management. Tips and tricks emails offer ongoing guidance on using Gong effectively.

    Your Gong admin may have set organization-wide, default notification settings, but you can still manage your own notifications to suit your needs and receive notifications about calls, comments, and deal board digests.

    To manage your notifications, click your username and select My notifications, and go to the relevant section:

    Calls

    Manage your call notifications:

    1. Expand the Call Summary section.

      • Turn on Your calls to receive an email each time a web conference call has been analyzed and transcribed. The email contains a summary of the call highlights, including a link to the call recording. This feature is not yet available for telephony system calls.

      • Turn on Your team's calls to receive an email each time someone in your team hierarchy has a web conference call that has been analyzed and transcribed. The email contains a summary of the call highlights, including a link to the call recording.
        These notifications are:

        • only available to team managers

        • not yet available for telephony system calls

    2. Expand the Activity digest section:

      • Turn on Daily activity digest to receive a daily email with today’s upcoming call schedule and a recap of yesterday’s calls.

        • Click penciledit.png to specify the time of the day you want to receive the email.

      • Turn on Weekly activity digest to receive a weekly email with next week’s upcoming call schedule and a recap of this week’s calls.

    3. Expand the Stream alerts section:

      • Receive an email notification each time a new call is added to a public stream.

        • Only subscribers to the public stream receive this notification.

        • Click Unsubscribe to stop receiving stream alert notifications.

    4. Expand the Saved filters alert section:

      • Receive an email notification each time you create or subscribe to a saved filter.

    Comments

    Manage your comment notification subscriptions. Specify if you want to immediately receive a notification when somebody mentions you in a comment, replies to your comment, replies to a thread you participated in, or comments on a call you follow.

    1. Expand the Comments section.

    2. Receive comments on calls:

      • Click Email-on.png to subscribe or unsubscribe

      • Click slack_-_on.png to subscribe or unsubscribe to your private Slack channel

    Deals

    Manage your deal board digest notification settings:

    1. Expand the Deal board digests section.

    2. Turn on All boards you are subscribed to to receive a daily email containing all the deal board digests you are subscribed to.

    3. Click penciledit.png to specify the day and time you wish to receive the deal board digests.

    Team

    Manage your team coaching notification settings.

    • This subscription is only available to members of a team

    1. Expand the Coaching section.

    2. Turn on Weekly coaching digest to receive a weekly email containing a summary of the previous week's coaching.

    3. Turn on Coaching Metrics report to receive a weekly email containing a summary of how managers of quota-carrying reps have been coaching during the previous week.

    Gong Engage

    Get a daily digest of actions you can take to stay on top of your deals.

    1. Expand the Daily digest section.

    2. Turn on Actions you can take today to keep your deals fresh to receive a daily list of AI to-dos.

    3. Choose where you want to receive your daily digest:

      • Click Email-on.png to subscribe or unsubscribe to email

      • Click mobile_-_on.png to subscribe or unsubscribe on mobile

      • Click slack_-_on.png to subscribe or unsubscribe to your private Slack channel

    4. Click penciledit.png to specify the day and time you wish to receive the Gong Engage daily digest.

    • This subscription is only available to members of a team

    1. Expand the Tips and tricks section.

    2. Turn on Tips on using Gong to receive ongoing emails on how best to use Gong.
