Set company default notifications

Where to go: Company settings > Notification settings
You can set which notifications Gong users in your organization receive by default. Individual users can always customize their personal settings whenever they want, to suit their needs.
The tips below will help you set the default notifications for your organization.

Select the default preferences
The company settings you set will be the default for anyone who joins your organization. Any changes you subsequently make will override personal customized notification settings.
Follow these steps to set the default preferences:

There are two channels available to configure notifications–Email and Slack. Depending on the notification, some channels may not yet be supported, and will have a deactivated checkbox.
For each notification, choose if and how you want to be notified. If all checkboxes are unselected, the toggle will automatically switch off, while selecting one will switch the toggle back on.
Click Update in the top right corner of your screen. A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to change this default setting.
If you make a mistake or change your mind, click Discard changes in the top right corner to reset.
Setting a notification schedule
At the right of each notification setting, you’ll be able to view when users receive alerts, which may include specific days of the week and times of the day. Some of these timings are configurable, in which case you’ll see a .
Here’s how to edit the options:
Click the to open a pop-up screen, where you’ll be able to schedule to receive notifications:
Daily, Weekly, or Immediately.
At a specific hour, ranging from 12AM to 11PM.
On a particular day of the week, from Monday to Sunday.
Note:
You won’t always see all of these options, and some choices are fixed.
Click Save.
