Who can use this: Tech admin

Available on: Any Gong plan

Manage your company's identity details and defaults from the General settings page, including regional settings, AI language, support contacts, account access, and automatic call review. Jump to the section you need.

Company profile

Check the details Gong recorded when your company onboarded. To view them, from the left sidebar click Admin center, then in the Settings tab click General settings under the Company card.

The section shows the following fields:

  • Company name: The name of your company.

  • Primary domain: The company domain linked to your Gong account. To update it, contact Gong support.

  • Additional domains: Internal domains Gong uses to classify participants and exclude internal emails from import. You define these on the Data protection and privacy page. This section displays them for reference.

  • Trusted authentication account: Shows the primary Gong instance configured for cross-instance login. If the field is empty, your Revenue Architect has not yet enabled this feature. See Enable log in to multiple Gong instances.

  • Data residency: The region where your Gong data is stored.

  • Gong URL: Your company's Gong instance URL.

Licenses and seats

Check how many licenses and application seats your company has purchased. This section is view-only, so assign seats in the Team members page. To understand what each seat covers, see Plans and seats.

Regional settings

Set the default timezone, fiscal calendar start month, and currency symbol for your company. Gong applies these defaults where it cannot determine the right value from a team member's own profile. For example, the company timezone is used on the Search results page, while individual pages and notifications use each team member's timezone.

To configure regional settings:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Admin center.

  2. In the Settings tab, click General settings under the Company card.

  3. Scroll to Regional Settings.

  4. Update the values you want to change:

    • Default timezone: Gong recommends setting this to your company headquarters timezone. Gong applies it to Search results; all other pages and notifications use each team member's individual timezone.

    • Fiscal calendar: The month your fiscal year starts. Deal views use this to group data by fiscal period.

    • Currency symbol: Gong uses this symbol to display deal amounts across the product.

  5. Click Update.

Note:

Timezone can also be set through provisioning (synced from your IdP), by tech admins in the Team members page, or by team members themselves in My profile. Whichever was set most recently applies, but provisioning can overwrite it at the next sync.

Languages

Choose the language Gong uses when generating AI content like call briefs and CRM-exported summaries.

To set the AI Translator language:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Admin center.

  2. In the Settings tab, click General settings under the Company card.

  3. Scroll to Languages.

  4. Click the AI Translator dropdown, and select your preferred translation language.

  5. Click Update.

Note:

This setting applies per workspace. To customize the language for a team member, set it in the Team members page.

Custom Gong addresses

Add your company's internal support contacts so team members reach your helpdesk from within Gong. When set, the URL you enter adds a Contact Support entry to the Gong Help menu for accounts where it's enabled, directing team members to your internal support page.

To add custom support addresses:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Admin center.

  2. In the Settings tab, click General settings under the Company card.

  3. Scroll to Custom Gong Addresses.

  4. Enter the addresses you want to add:

    • Email for [company name] internal helpdesk: An email address or alias for your company's internal settings help. Team members see this as a contact option inside Gong.

    • URL for [company name] internal support page: A URL for your company's ticketing or support system. Team members are directed to this URL when they click the internal support link in Gong.

  5. Click Update.

Account access for Gong

Control whether Gong's account team and product team can access your account. You can enable or disable each option independently.

To configure account access:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Admin center.

  2. In the Settings tab, click General settings under the Company card.

  3. Scroll to Account access for Gong.

  4. Select the options you want to enable:

    • Enhanced support and guidance: Allows Gong's account team to access your account when providing support or recommendations. Teams must give a reason each time they access it.

    • Collaboration with Gong on new product capabilities: Allows Gong's product team to work with your company on testing and refining new capabilities.

  5. Click Update.

AI Call Reviewer

Enable automatic call review for your company. When on, AI Call Reviewer scores calls and suggests scorecard answers without manual input from reviewers.

To enable or disable automatic call review:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Admin center.

  2. In the Settings tab, click General settings under the Company card.

  3. Scroll to AI Call Reviewer.

  4. Click the Allow automatic review toggle to enable or disable automatic review.
