Note:
The call status report has been improved to include meetings and additional call data. The new report has different columns than the legacy report. The legacy report will be available for a limited period by clicking Email old report.
You need the Calls Data permission enabled in your permission profile to generate the call status report.
Meetings and calls included in the report
Telephony calls: all recorded calls.
Meetings: Meetings are web conference calls scheduled via one of the calendar providers. Meetings included in the report are:
Meetings that were recorded
Meetings that weren’t recorded (for example, due to privacy settings, exclusion rules, consent requirements, or technical issues)
Meetings that were canceled or didn’t take place
Meetings organized by your company or by external participants
How to use this report
Use this report for analytics on your calls. For example:
The status of your company calls
The number of calls that were recorded, skipped, canceled, or not recorded
The number of calls that were recorded, skipped, or canceled during a specific timeframe
The number of calls that weren’t scheduled to be recorded, for example, calls organized externally, calls that weren’t recorded due to privacy settings, meetings marked as private, link to the Gong consent page not used and the company’s policy is to enforce use of the consent page
Track which calls are being recorded as expected, or if there are missed calls due to training or technical issues
Filter the report based on a specific team and timeframe
Generate a report for large teams (200+ people)
Calculate the consent opt-out rate.
How to create a call status report
Click Admin center > Settings > Reports > Call status.
In the Call status dialog box, choose which team's calls to include in the report.
Select the timeframe for the report.
Click EMAIL REPORT to receive an email containing a self-expiring link to the report.
This link is valid for 30 days. After 30 days, the link expires, and the report is no longer available for downloading.
Data from the previous 24 hours might not appear in the report.
Click Email old report to generate the legacy version of the report. See Legacy call status report fields
Call status report fields
The report includes details of meetings that are set up in your calendar and calls which take place via a telephony provider.
Meeting title: The title of the call
Meeting organizer name: The name of the person who organized the meeting via their calendar
Meeting organizer email: The email of the person who organized the meeting via their calendar
Call host name: The name of the person who owns the call made via a telephony provider
Call host email: The email of the person who owns the call made via a telephony provider
Call ID: The ID of the call in Gong
Start date and Start time: The date and time the call started. Dates and times are UTC and not the company timezone
Calendar provider: The name of the calendar provider used to set up the meeting
Call provider: The name of the telephony provider used to make the call
Meeting skip code: The skip code indicating the reason the meeting wasn’t recorded
Meeting skip description: A description of the skip code
Call skip code: The skip code indicating the reason the call wasn’t recorded
Call skip description: A description of the skip code
Consent Page Used: Indicates whether participants had to consent to recording the call before joining
Status: Call statuses are:
COMPLETED: The call was successfully recorded
ABORTED: Gong was unable to record the call
CANCELLED: The call was cancelled or the host decided not to record the meeting
PURGED: The call recording was deleted. This could be either manually, in bulk, via an automated rule, or due to retention policies.
NOT_SCHEDULED: The call wasn’t scheduled to be recorded
Legacy call status report fields
This report contains the following information:
Call ID: The ID of the call in Gong
Call Title: The title of the call
Host Name: The name of the call host
Host Email: The host’s email address
Call Start Date and Call Start Time: The date and time the call started. Dates and times are UTC and not the company timezone.
Provider: The name of the provider used to make the call.
Consent Page Used: Indicates whether participants had to consent to recording the call before joining.
Status: Call statuses are:
Completed: The call was successfully recorded
Aborted: Gong was unable to record the call
Cancelled: The call was cancelled or the host decided not to record the meeting
Purged: The call recording was deleted. This could be either manually, in bulk, via an automated rule, or due to retention policies.
Skip Reason: A skip code indicating the reason the call wasn’t recorded.
