Set permissions for Gong Forecast

After Forecast seats are purchased and allocated, it’s time to apply Forecast permission to relevant permission profiles - for business admins to build boards and for reps and managers to view them.

Permission to build forecast boards

Admin center > Permission profiles

To apply forecast boards building and managing permissions to the profile:

Select the permission profile/s applied to business admins in your company.
Under Pages, check Forecast and Manage the forecast board; assign targets.
Under Forecast, check ALL in all options.

Permission to forecast in Gong

Admin center > Permission profiles

As soon as team members are assigned permission to forecast in Gong, they see the Forecast page under Deals.

To apply Forecast permissions to reps and managers forecasting in Gong:

Select the permission profile/s applied to reps and managers in your company.
Under Pages, check Forecast .

Editing permission profile settings for team access to various Gong pages.

In Forecast > View forecasts and in Forecast > Edit forecasts:
1. In permission profiles assigned to reps, check Their own.
2. In permission profiles assigned to managers, check People who report to them.
