Gong’s AI meeting prep page helps you get ready for customer meetings quickly and confidently with comprehensive, AI-generated summaries, recaps, and insights. The page gives you everything you need to join your call fully informed, organized and focused.
The AI meeting prep page enhances meeting effectiveness by:
Saving time: Instantly surfaces and consolidates key information from past account activity, so you spend less time searching.
Keeping you thorough: Highlights essential context, action items, and reminders to ensure nothing is missed.
Focusing the conversation: Presents key topics, action items, and tailored questions based on the upcoming meeting and your role.
Sharing knowledge: Makes past insights easy to access, share, and comment on — improving team alignment.
Considerations before you use AI meeting prep page:
Meeting prep is available on any customer call that hasn't started yet or is currently in progress (ON AIR - 15 min before start).
While the prep page always appears with key meeting details, the summary and Ask anything are generated only when there’s prior tracked activity with the account, such as calls or emails.

Participant information: View all meeting participants from both your own and the customer’s company. From here you can drill down into individuals, to see any activity timeline, use Ask Anything, or generate a Brief to learn more about key participants.

Recent activity: Scroll through recent calls and emails with this customer to review past interactions. Click Filters to include digital interactions, CRM changes and texts, to your Activity type.

From the AI meeting prep page, you can:
Re-name the call
Decide whether to record or not record the meeting

Where to find AI meeting prep page
From the homepage
You can easily access meeting prep from your Gong homepage, under Conversations, using 2 entry points:
Prepare for meetings:
Click Prepare for meetings to access your upcoming meetings.

Upcoming meetings appear on the far right of the page. Select meetings by you, your team, or your company. You can also select All, External or Internal meetings.
Hover over the relevant meeting, and click Prepare.

From an ON AIR call:
You can also prepare for your meeting directly from an upcoming or on-air call. Calls appear here about 15 minutes before they start.
Under Conversations, hover over the relevant call and click Prepare.

From anywhere in Gong:
There are two shortcuts to open Upcoming meetings.
Quick access menu: Click Upcoming.

Keyboard shortcut: Press Shift + M.
From the account page
Prepare for your meeting while looking at your customer’s account page.
Navigate to any account.
Find future scheduled meetings.
Click on Go to call to access the AI meeting prep page.

From the activity page
Prepare for your meeting when viewing your activity for the week or beyond.
Access Activity from the sidebar.
View the calendar showing your scheduled meetings and click on any call that hasn't started yet or has just started.
Click Prepare to access the AI meeting prep page.

From your daily and weekly digest, and account update emails
You can go directly to the AI meeting prep page from links included in your email digests.
