Open a dashboard from your shared or company list, star the ones you return to most, or search by name to find it quickly.
Open a dashboard
Dashboards shared with you appear under Shared with you. Dashboards published to the whole company appear under Company dashboards.
To open a dashboard:
From the left sidebar, click Dashboards.
Select the section where your dashboard lives:
Shared with you: Dashboards shared directly with you
Company dashboards: Dashboards published to the whole company
Click the dashboard name to open it.
Note:
If the dashboard isn't listed, it may not have been published yet or hasn't been shared with you.
Star a dashboard for quick access
Starred dashboards appear under Starred so you can find them without scrolling through your full list.
To star a dashboard:
From the left sidebar, click Dashboards.
Hover over the dashboard name in the list.
Click Star dashboard.
The dashboard appears under Starred in the left navigation.
Search for a dashboard
Find a dashboard by name when your list is too long to scroll through.
To search for a dashboard:
From the left sidebar, click Dashboards.
In the search box at the top of the dashboard list, type the dashboard name.
Click the dashboard in the results to open it.
Use dashboard filters
If an admin has published dashboard filters, they appear on the dashboard as a set of filter controls. You can interact with unlocked filters to narrow the data shown across the dashboard's widgets. Locked filters are visible but fixed: you can see what they are but cannot change them.
To use dashboard filters:
Open the dashboard.
Click Filters to open the filter panel if it isn't already visible.
Select a value for any unlocked filter. The widgets that support the filter update to show data matching your selection.
Your filter selection applies across supported widgets on the dashboard. It doesn't change the dashboard for anyone else.
Note:
Some filters are locked by the admin and cannot be changed. You can see a locked filter's value but not edit it. You cannot add new filters to a dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see a dashboard someone told me about?
The dashboard may not have been published yet, or it may have been shared with specific people and not with you. Contact your admin if you think it should be shared with you.
Can I create or edit a dashboard?
Viewing and building dashboards are separate capabilities subject to different permissions. Contact your admin if you need access to managing dashboards.
