Pipeline health dashboards are ideal for preparing for forecast calls or weekly business reviews and seeing how your team's pipeline compares to their targets, what has changed, and which deals need attention. Set the team and period, check coverage against target, review recent changes, and drill into the deals worth discussing.

Note:

Since dashboards are fully customizable, the widgets on your dashboard may differ from the ones you see here. Use the instructions below as general guidance for viewing your dashboard, even if the widgets you see are different.

Step 1: Open the dashboard

Your admin or manager may have shared a dashboard directly with you or published it to the whole company. You'll find it in your dashboard list.

To open a dashboard:

  1. From the left sidebar, click Dashboards.

  2. Under Shared with you, click the dashboard you want to review. If you don't see it there, check Company dashboards.

Note:

If the dashboard isn't listed, it may not have been published yet or hasn't been shared with you.

Step 2: Set the team and period

Most dashboards let you switch between teams and periods.

To set the team and period:

At the top of the dashboard, select the team and period you want to review.

Note:

Some widgets are set by their builders to use fixed team and period. If a widget shows Dashboard selections don't apply, that widget won't respond to the header selectors.

Step 3: Check pipeline coverage

Pipeline coverage KPI widgets show your total open pipeline value for the selected team and period. Where a target is set, you'll also see an attainment progress bar showing how far the metric’s value is from its goal.

To read your pipeline coverage:

  1. Check the open pipeline KPI widget to see the total value of deals in your pipeline.

  2. Check the attainment or coverage value alongside the metric to see its progress against the target.

  3. Hover over any value to see additional context or breakdown details.

  4. Click the pipeline value to open the underlying deal list and see which deals are included.

Step 4: Review what's changed

The Changes widget shows how your pipeline has shifted since the last review period: new deals that entered, deals that progressed, deals that slipped, and deals that closed or were removed. Use it to spot where pipeline is growing and where it's falling off.

To review pipeline changes:

  1. Look at the Changes widget to see pipeline movement across categories such as new, slipped, and lost.

  2. Focus on the categories that matter most: large slippage or a drop in new pipeline signal risk going into a forecast period.

  3. Click a movement category to open the deals in that group.

Step 5: Inspect priority deals

After reviewing the headline numbers and changes, drill into the specific deals that warrant discussion: large at-risk opportunities, deals that slipped stage, or deals close to their expected close date.

To inspect priority deals:

  1. Click any KPI value, chart bar, or pipeline segment to open the underlying deal list.

  2. Sort the deal list by close date, deal value, or stage to surface the deals that need attention.

  3. Click a deal to open it and review activity, notes, or next steps.

  4. To return to the dashboard, use your browser's back button or click the dashboard name.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the pipeline number look different from what I see on my deal board?

Dashboard widgets calculate the pipeline based on the metric definition set by your admin, including which CRM date fields apply, which deal stages qualify, and which conditions filter the deal records. These settings may differ from the filters set in your deal board. Contact your admin if the difference seems too large.

What if a widget doesn't change when I select a different team or period?

Some widgets are configured by their builder to show fixed team and period values. These widgets show Dashboard selections don't apply and won't respond to the header selectors.
