Article summary

Once you’ve set up the connection, define the settings needed to import Salesforce data.

  1. Go to Company settings > CRM > Salesforce. In the Import from Salesforce section, click Manage Salesforce fields to set which Salesforce fields to import to Gong. See Set import of Salesforce fields for more details.

  2. Select the Salesforce field which contains the value of the deal. The value in this field is displayed in Gong as the deal amount. This field type must be currency. Note that the deal board configurations include selecting the CRM amount field, allowing different amount fields to be used for different deals. For more details, see Create and manage deal boards.

  3. Check We use multiple currencies if you are set up to use multiple currencies in Salesforce. This converts all amount fields to your primary corporate currency based on the settings in your CRM.

For more details, see Enabling multiple currencies.

    Note:

When you switch to multiple currencies, we convert all deal values into your default corporate currency, including for past closed deals. Therefore, this action cannot be reversed.

To configure how Gong associates CRM objects with Gong activities such as calls and emails, see Associate your CRM entities with Gong activities.
