Who can use this: Any team member
Available on: Gong Foundation
Add calls, folders, or streams as context when you want Gong Assistant to focus on a specific set of conversations. Without added context, Gong Assistant can often work out timeframes, accounts, and people from the way you phrase a question. To set up filters or phrase a question so the assistant finds the calls for you, see Refine questions with natural language or filters.
Add context to a chat
Choose Calls to define the set of calls by filter, or choose Folders and streams to focus the assistant on a curated collection of calls. The assistant uses only the calls you can access, and the context you add stays in place while the chat is open.
To add context to a chat:
From the left sidebar, click Assistant.
In the prompt box, click the Add context icon (+).
Choose what to add:
Calls: Select Calls. In the Filter editor window, set up a filter for the calls you want the assistant to add as context, and click Save to add the calls.
Folders and streams: Select Folders and streams. Select Your folders, Company library, or Folders shared with you, and then select a folder or stream that contains the calls you want the assistant to use. To browse the full library, click Open library.
Type your question in the prompt box.
Click the Arrow icon to send your message.
Tip:
You can also start from your library and ask about a folder or stream there. Learn more about Where you can use Gong Assistant.
