Spot collaborative moments and share them with your team
Hear what reps are saying in their non-English calls so you can coach them better
Give and get feedback from colleagues who speak different languages
How to translate
Translation into English is available for all non-English calls. Translation quality is highest for hyper-optimized languages.
Go to the page of the call you want translated.
Click the translation icon on the top right corner of the left side of the screen and choose English.
If you want this selection to be saved for future calls in this language, check the “Always translate” checkbox.
How to go back to the original language
If you’ve translated a transcript to English and want to go back to the original language, you can do this via the translate icon in the banner. If you’ve closed the banner, clickin the top right corner of the screen and select Translate.
Actions you can take from the translated transcript
From the translated transcript, you can play the recording, add a comment, share a snippet or add a snippet to the call library.
When you share a snippet, the person you share it with will receive the snippet in the call’s original language. They’ll be able to translate it into English, if they want.

Currently, you can only translate into English.
What languages can I translate from?
You can translate from any language in Gong. See which languages we support here.
Can I search translated transcripts?
No, not right now. Search is currently supported in the original language only.
Once I translate a transcript, can I go back to the original?
Yes, the original transcript is always available.
Can I share snippets in a translated transcript?
Yes, you can. The snippet will be received in the translated language. Clicking through to the call page will bring the recipient to the call in its original language.
I don’t see the translation banner. How can I go back to the original language, or translate a call transcript to English?
At any time, you can translate a call’s transcript and spotlight via the action menu in the top right corner of the call page. Click> Translate to see the options.
