You can share a folder from Your library with specific team members so they can view and add calls to it. Shared folders appear in the recipient's Folders shared with you section.
Share a folder
When you share a folder, recipients are notified by email and the folder appears in their Folders shared with you section. They can view the folder's contents and add or remove calls from it.
To share a folder:
From the left sidebar, click Conversations, and select Your library.
Hover over the relevant folder and click the More actions icon, then click Share.
Search for and select the team members you want to share with.
(Optional) Add a message to include in the notification email.
Click Share folder.
Stop sharing a folder
You can remove individual people from a folder's sharing list at any time. When you remove someone, the folder disappears from their Folders shared with you section immediately.
To stop sharing a folder with someone:
From the left sidebar, click Conversations, and select Your library.
Hover over the relevant folder and click the More actions icon, then click Share.
Under People with access, click Remove beside the person you want to remove.
Click Update.
Frequently asked questions
I shared a folder. Can recipients play those calls?
It depends on your company's settings. When a recipient can see a folder, they can view its contents list. Whether they can open and play each call depends on their own call access permissions and whether your admin has enabled the company-level folder sharing setting. Private calls are always excluded and cannot be played by recipients, even when sharing is fully configured.
I shared a folder that contains a stream. Can recipients play those calls?
Not automatically. Sharing a folder gives recipients access to the folder itself and to calls manually added to it. Calls that appear in the folder only because they match a stream's filters do not gain playback access through folder sharing. To give recipients access to stream-collected calls, add those calls directly to the folder.
Why is the Share option not available on my folder?
The Share option requires the folder sharing permission in your permission profile. If it is not available, your admin has not granted you this permission. Contact your admin to enable folder sharing for your profile.
Can I share a Company library folder the same way?
No. Company library folders are already visible to everyone with company library access in your company. You cannot share individual Company library folders with specific people the same way you can share Your library folders.
