The call library is where you collect, organize, and share the calls that matter. Instead of leaving important calls in the general feed, you can arrange them into folders, build automatic collections with streams, and share curated content with your team for coaching, onboarding, or deal review. The call library lives inside Conversations, with two areas to work from: Your library for personal organizing, and Company library for content shared across your company.
Your library
Your library is your private workspace. Calls and snippets you save here are visible only to you unless you choose to share them. It has two sections: Your folders, which holds the folders and streams you create, and Folders shared with you, where folders that team members share with you appear automatically.

Company library
Company library holds folders and streams that are visible to everyone in your company with library access. It is typically maintained by managers, enablement teams, and RevOps to make curated content easy to find: onboarding playlists, best-practice call collections, deal-stage references, and more. You can browse company library folders, open calls inside them, and add calls to any folder you have access to.

Folders
A folder is a container you fill manually. Choose which calls and snippets go in, add an optional note when you save something, and the folder holds them until you remove them. Folders can be nested inside each other, and the same call can appear in multiple folders at once without creating duplicates.
Deleting or archiving a folder does not affect the calls saved in it. They remain in Gong and are still searchable.

Streams
A stream is an automatic collection of calls. You define a set of filters and every call that matches appears in the stream automatically as it comes in. Filters can include participants, accounts, keywords, trackers, deal stage, and more. Set it up once, and wait for it to gather the calls for you.
Streams can send notifications to Slack, Microsoft Teams, or by email when new calls come in, so your team stays informed without checking the library manually. You can keep a stream private in your library or place it in the company library for everyone to follow.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a folder and a stream?
Folders are manually curated: you decide what goes in. Streams are filter-driven: you set the criteria and the stream automatically collects every matching call going forward. Use a folder when you want full control over what a collection contains. Use a stream when you want continuous, automatic coverage of a specific topic, team, or deal type.
Why do I see folders in "Folders shared with you" that I didn't create?
Folders shared with you shows folders that other team members have shared with you. They appear automatically when someone shares access. You can open the folder and see its contents, but the folder belongs to whoever created it. If the owner stops sharing, the folder disappears from your list.
Can I see company library content from a different workspace?
No. The company library is specific to each workspace. If your company uses multiple workspaces, each one has its own company library. Content in one workspace's library is not visible from another, even for team members who have access to both workspaces.
