Article summary

Request feedback formally on your calls from your manager or someone on your team to make they know which call you'd like their feedback on.

Tip: You can also request feedback informally by tagging your manager in a comment on your call, and sharing the call (internal share) with your manager.

  1. Open the call you want feedback for.

  2. Click Feedback.

The Request Feedback dialog opens, with your manager's name selected in the REQUEST FROM FEEDBACK field by default.

  3. To request feedback from someone other than your manager, click the REQUEST FEEDBACK FROM field, and search for someone else.

  4. Add a message about the type of feedback you're looking for.

  5. Click SEND.

The recipient will be notified about the feedback request in the following ways:

    • By email

    • In their Collaboration > Received tab on the Gong homepage

    • If they're your direct manager, in their Coaching Inbox.

Find where you requested feedback in the Collaboration > Sent tab on your homepage.

Tip: Want to include a snippet of the part of the call you want feedback on? Click Create snippet from the feedback screen and then select the beginning and end times of the snippet you want to share. Click Feedback to return to the feedback screen.
