Who's this for?
The ability to set up and control voice identification is being rolled out gradually. When it’s open for your org, you’ll see a Voice identification section in Company Settings > Data protection > privacy.
If you don't see this section yet, that means voice identification is enabled by default for your org. The ability to manage it will be added soon.
Enabling voice identification lets Gong identify team members by their voice on mono telephony calls, and when they can't be identified any other way. After you’ve enabled it, team members must opt in to voice identification via their My Settings page. They will be prompted to do so in Gong with the following popup:
Enabling voice identification
Go to Company Settings page > Data protection & privacy.
Under Voice identification, click Enable.
Notify team members that they must opt in to this capability on their My Settings page.
For your convenience, you'll find an email template in the Voice identification section that you can use to notify your team members.
