Gong app for Zoom enables you to bookmark moments in your meetings, write comments in real-time, and collaborate with others during meetings. Comments you make during meetings are imported into Gong alongside the call, and appear on the Comments pane.

Your org must be set up for native Zoom recording. Instructions for your Gong tech admin

Your Gong tech admin needs to have pre-approved the app at your org's Zoom account level. An explanation on how to do that are provided here.

Open the Zoom application, and go to the Apps tab.
Can't find it? This is relatively new in Zoom...so make sure you have the latest app installed, and contact your org's Zoom admin if you don't have it.

Click Browse all apps, and search for Gong.

Add the Gong app for Zoom.

During a recorded meeting, in the Zoom meeting window, click Apps, and then click Open next to Gong app for Zoom.
You may be asked to sign in to your Gong account.

The meeting needs to have been scheduled in advance so that Gong knows about it.

The meeting must be recorded using the native Zoom recorder.
Bookmarking a call lets you save important moments in your recording to review later. Click BOOKMARK THIS MOMENT to add a bookmark to the recorded call.
Bookmarks are saved as comments, and similar to comments you can click the to rename them and control who can see them. After the meeting is imported to Gong you can find your bookmarks in the call page comment panel. Click on the timestamp to play the recording at the bookmarked moment.

Make notes while on the call.

Adjust the note privacy using the privacy setting above the comment box.

Get your Gong-using colleagues into the app! Public comments can be viewed in real-time by all other Gong users on the call, makes collaborating so easy.

Click Send to send the app to people who haven't installed it yet.

Click Share to share the chat with everyone on the call. Remember that your prospects can see this too, so make sure there's nothing sensitive before you do it. Click Stop Share to stop sharing.

If you want to share your screen, go ahead. The Gong app for Zoom won't be visible to anyone on regular screen share.

Click Expand to make the chat bigger; click Collapse to make it smaller.
After the meeting has ended and is imported to Gong, find your comments in the call page comment panel (even when recording was skipped).
