Note
Recording consent disclaimer
Zoom will always notify meeting participants that a meeting is being recorded. It is not possible to disable this notification. For participants joining by desktop client or mobile app, the screen will display a recording consent disclaimer. For participants that join audio by phone, they will hear an audio prompt when they first join the meeting if it is already being recorded or at the time the recording is started.
Optional Zoom settings
The following settings are not mandatory but can be considered when enabling native recording.
Let Gong users take notes on calls
Enable your company Gong users take notes on calls AND have them timestamped and pulled into Gong as comments alongside the call.
To allow use of the Gong app for Zoom on a company-wide level, you must be a Zoom account admin with Marketplace role access.

Record meeting participants during screen share
With native Zoom recording, the host of the meeting can set up recording settings to include the active speaker or gallery as well as the shared screen in the meeting recording:
Go to your Zoom user > Recording > Cloud recording settings.
Pick what to show when the screen is shared:
Record active speaker with shared screen
Record gallery view with shared screen
Click Save.
Email notifications
Zoom has an option to send an email notification when a meeting recording is ready. We recommend that you turn this off because Gong has a similar setting for when the recording becomes available in Gong.
Go to your Zoom user > Meeting > Email notification settings.
Toggle When a cloud recording is available to OFF.
