You can configure company-wide settings for recording conversations. When an individual team member's settings differ from the company's settings, the individual settings are used for that team member.

On the company settings page, in the Data capture settings area, click Recording settings.

In the Web conference calls area, answer the following questions:

Which meetings should be recorded?
Choose between recording any meetings people set to be recorded participate in, or only those they host.

Should Gong record internal web conference calls?
Choose between external calls only, or both internal and external calls. Add domain names for domains that should be treated as internal.

Should Gong record video?
Choose between recording audio and video, or audio only.

Should Gong record when no internal participant is present?
Toggle on if you want to stop recording when no internal participant is in the meeting, either because they didn't join, or because the last internal participant left. Note that in rare cases, Gong may not successfully identify an internal participant , and may stop recording even when somebody internal was present.

Select the name of the recording bot.
This is the "participant" name of the recording bot, seen by all participants, of the call. It lets participants know they are being recorded. Choose one of the following:

Gong recorder

In the Gong Connect calls area, enter the area codes, separated by a comma.
Calls made to numbers with these prefixes from Gong Connect will not be recorded automatically, but the caller can turn on recording manually.

In the All calls area, enter the threshold length for calls that should be processed.
This setting affects calls recorded using web conferencing and those imported from telephony providers.
Note
The minimum length is 30 seconds.
