Starting February 12, 2025, meetings recorded with the generic assistant email will no longer be recorded, as it will be replaced by a company-specific email address. Users are encouraged to transition to this new email for recording calls. Existing meetings scheduled with the generic email will still be recorded if no changes are made after the cutoff date. Recurring meetings will also continue to be recorded under the same conditions. If a meeting is set up with the generic email after February 12, it will not be recorded, and users will receive an error notification. This change does not affect existing integrations with other tools. Users will be notified when using the generic email, prompting them to switch to the dedicated email. Admins can assist by updating calendar systems and notifying users about the transition. Existing recordings linked to the generic email will remain accessible.
