Who can do this?
OpenID Connect is the preferred authentication protocol for Gong as it is more secure and also more user-friendly than others.
Prerequisites
To set up OneLogin OpenID Connect authentication in Gong, you must have admin rights in OneLogin and be a tech admin in Gong.
Step 1: Set up Gong in OneLogin
Go to the OneLogin administration page > Applications.
Click Add App.
Search for and select OpenId Connect (OIDC).
In the Info tab, set the Display Name to Gong via OIDC.
In the Configuration tab, set the following:
Login Url: https://app.gong.io/welcome/sign-in
Redirect URI’s: https://app.gong.io/welcome/okta/oidc/login_callback
In the SSO tab, make a note of the Client ID, Client Secret, and Issuer URL (usually in the form of https://.onelogin.com/oidc/2).
Make sure that the Application Type is set to Web and the Token Endpoint Authentication Method is set to Basic.
In the Users tab, assign the users that need access to Gong.
Click Save (top left corner).
You have successfully created an OIDC custom OneLogin app.
Step 2: Set up OneLogin OpenID Connect in Gong
In Gong, click Company settings > Authentication.
In the Additional authentication providers area, select OneLogin OpenID Connect.
Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and Issuer URL. you got when setting up Gong in OneLogin.

Click Update.
Your users can now sign in to Gong using the OneLogin sign in method on the main Sign In page.
