This guide describes how to set up OneLogin SAML SSO authentication. Note that we recommend OneLogin OpenID Connect as the preferred authentication protocol for Gong because it is both more user-friendly, and more secure than other authentication methods. Step 1: Set up Gong in OneLogin
Login into your OneLogin account.
Go to Apps > Add Apps.
Use the search to search for "saml".
Select SAML Test Connector (Advanced) from the search results.
In Display Name, enter Gong.io and then click Save.
In the Configuration tab > ACS (Consumer) URL Validator area, paste the following:
^https:\/\/app.gong.io\/welcome\/okta\/saml/login

This is the correct url for OneLogin! (Even though it says “okta”). This will be rectified in the future.

In the SSO tab, copy Issuer URL, and save it for when you need it in Gong (Step 2 below).
Finish the OneLogin setup process, adding the new app to existing users.
Step 2: Set up OneLogin in Gong
In Gong, click Company settings > Authentication.
In the Additional authentication providers area, select Generic SAML SSO.
Paste the Issuer URL that you copied in step 8 above into the Identity Provider Metadata URL box.
Enter the URL you want to redirect people to after they log out of Gong.

Click Update.
