Listen to calls on the go with the Gong mobile app. Leave comments, score calls, see what happened at a glance, listen when you’re offline, and more.
Listen to recent calls
From the calls screen, see your recent calls, your team’s recent calls, your company’s recent calls, calls that you recently played, and calls that you’ve saved to Listen later. Rolling out in January 2025, you’ll be able to search for specific calls using filters, and sort the results.
Click on any call and see the full call spotlight. Reduce the spotlight and see the call page.
Listen to calls in the library
From the calls screen, tap More to open the Library. From here, access folders and streams in your library and your company library.
See highlights at a glance
From the calls screen, see the call brief for recorded calls. Tap a call to open the call page, where you’ll see the call brief, key points, outline, and ask anything. From here, tap play to hear the call audio, or pull down the chevron to hide the call brief and see the full call screen. To see the highlights again, tap Spotlight.
Save calls to listen to later
When you add a call to Listen later from the mobile app, it downloads automatically to your device so you can listen to it when you’re offline. The listen later list syncs with the desktop app, and is accessible at anytime from the mobile app calls screen.
To add a call to Listen later and download it to your device:
From the calls screen, tap beside the call name.
To remove a from the Listen later and remove it from your device:
From the calls screen, tap beside the call name.
Actions from the call page
Tap at the top of the call page to share the call, add it to Listen later, add it to the library, score a speaker on the call, see the call transcript, or show the video (it will be visible in the call player view).
Along the top of the screen, choose from the following views: call player, comments, call info, or search.
For all views, playback controls are at the bottom of the screen. These enable you to control the speed of the playback, go 15 seconds backwards or forwards, play/pause, or jump to the next speaker.
Call player view
From this view, see the call info, speaker track, and timeline. Drag the speaker track or the progress bar below it to wherever you want to go in the call. Tap Show video to show the call video. Tap Spotlight to show the call brief, highlights, outline, and ask anything. Leave a comment by entering text in the field below the playback controls, or record a comment by clicking the microphone icon.
Comments view
From this view, see all of the comments on the call at the top of the screen. Listen to, reply, edit or delete the comments, or jump to the place in the call where the comment was left.
Information view
From this view, see who was on the call and how long it lasted.
Search
From this view, search for any term said in the call.
Read the transcript
On the call screen, tap Read transcript. The call transcript opens. Scroll through the transcript, and tap any segment to start playing the call at that part.
Comment on the call
Leave recorded or written comments on the call. If you're offline, your comments will sync automatically when you get back to a network connection.
Add a recorded comment
Recorded comments can be played back on both mobile and desktop. The first time you use the microphone from the app, you'll need to give permission to access your device microphone.
At the bottom of the call screen, tap and record your message.
After recording it, set who can see and listen to the comment. Choose from anyone at your company, specific people, or only you, and then tap POST.
Add a written comment
At the bottom of the call screen, tap the comment field and write a comment.
To tag someone, tap @ and start typing their name.
To set who can see the comment, tap the icon at the end of the comment field, and select anyone at your company, specific people, or only you.
Tap to post your comment.
Share the call
On the call page, tap More > Share call.
Select whether you want to share the call with people at your company or with people outside your company.
If you choose to share with people outside your company, access to the call is limited to 30 days. You can choose to share the call with a public link (anyone with the link can access it) or a restricted link (only people specified during the share process can access it).
Add to the library
On the call screen, tap Add to library. Select a folder, add a note, and save, just as you would on the desktop app.
Score the call
On the call screen, tap Scorecards.
Tap Score this call.
Select the speaker you want to score.
Select one of the available scorecards, fill it in, and tap POST to submit.
