What should I do after I connect Gong to Slack?
Turn on notifications for Gong users to start getting notified about comments and calls. Enable Slack notifications in streams so that you and your team are notified when relevant calls happen. For example, if you set a stream to track competitor mentions, enabling Slack notifications on that steam means teams members will get Slack notifications whenever a new call is added.
How many Slack workspaces can I connect to?
You can connect your Gong account to one Slack workspace. To make the connection, you must be a Gong tech admin and a Slack admin.
Does the Slack integration work with the free version of Slack?
Yes! As far as we know, the free version of Slack supports up to 3 integrations, so you can connect Gong as 1 of the 3.
How do I enable Gong notifications in a private Slack channel?
To enable notifications from Gong in a private channel, first add the Gong app to the channel. Anyone in the channel can do this by opening the channel, typing /Add apps to this channel, and then adding Gong.
