Set up Microsoft Exchange and Outlook to work with Gong (not on-premises solutions)

This article explains how to set up call recording when you use Microsoft Exchange and Outlook in solutions that are not on-premises.

Set up these two rules in Outlook:

  • Automatically cc Gong on any invitation you send

  • Automatically forward any invitation you receive to Gong

CC Gong on all outgoing invitations

  1. Open Outlook and in the upper left corner, click File.

  2. Click Manage Rules & Alerts.

  3. Click New Rule.

  4. Click Apply rule on messages I send and then click Next.

  5. Select the which is a meeting invitation or update box, and then click Next.

  6. Select the Cc the message to people or public group box. Then, in Step 2, click the people or public group link.

  7. In the To line, copy and paste your company's handler address. If you're not sure what it is, contact your CSM.

  8. Click Finish.

Forward all incoming invitations to Gong

  1. Open Outlook and in the upper left corner, click File.

  2. Click Manage Rules & Alerts.

  3. Click New Rule.
