Connect HubSpot and Gong to share data between your CRM and Gong. The HubSpot integration imports CRM data into Gong and exports selected Gong activities to HubSpot.

After connecting HubSpot, Gong associates HubSpot records and fields with customer interactions, accounts, contacts, and opportunities. This enables teams to use CRM data throughout Gong for analysis, account management, forecasting, engagement workflows, and reporting.

What the HubSpot integration does

The HubSpot integration creates a connection between HubSpot and Gong so that data can be shared between the two systems.

After the integration is configured:

  • Gong imports selected HubSpot records and fields.

  • Gong associates CRM data with Gong accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities.

  • Gong exports selected Gong activities to HubSpot.

  • Team members can use HubSpot data throughout Gong for search, analysis, forecasting, and engagement workflows.

Data that Gong imports from HubSpot

Gong imports data from HubSpot objects and their associated fields.

Tech admins choose which fields Gong imports for each object. You can import both standard HubSpot fields and custom HubSpot fields.

  • Opportunity

How Gong uses imported HubSpot data

Imported HubSpot data provides CRM context throughout Gong.

Depending on your Gong products and configuration, imported HubSpot data can be used to:

  • Filter and analyze customer interactions using CRM data

  • View account and opportunity information in Gong

  • Support deal management and forecasting workflows

  • Track changes to selected CRM fields

  • Associate activities with CRM records

  • Personalize Engage activities using CRM field placeholders

  • Analyze customer activity using CRM attributes

Data that Gong exports to HubSpot

Gong can export activity data from Gong to HubSpot.

Depending on your configuration, Gong can export:

  • Meetings

  • Calls

  • Emails

  • Engage tasks

  • LinkedIn messages and connection requests

  • Engage flow data

Tech admins configure export settings in the HubSpot integration settings page.

HubSpot integration setup

Configuring the HubSpot integration involves four main steps:

  1. Connect HubSpot to Gong.

  2. Select the HubSpot fields to import.

  3. Configure how imported HubSpot data is used in Gong.

  4. Configure which Gong activities are exported to HubSpot.

After setup is complete, Gong continuously syncs data according to the configured settings.

Access to HubSpot data

Gong can access any HubSpot data that the integration user can access.

We recommend connecting HubSpot using a dedicated integration user. A dedicated integration user gives you more control over which HubSpot data Gong can import and export.

The permissions assigned to the integration user determine which HubSpot records and fields are available to Gong.
