Go to your profile to see information about your settings in Gong. Most of the information here is set in advance by your admin, but there are some areas that you can customize. If you add or update any information here, click Update to save your changes.
Personal details
See info including your name, email address, phone number and time zone. Most of these elements are already set for you, but you can update your own mobile number, time zone, locale, and pronouns.
Locale
Locale is a set of parameters that defines regional settings, and includes things like language, when the week starts, the number and currency formatting, and more.
Pronouns
These pronouns will be used when referring to you in AI-generated content. If you set pronouns, they take effect for upcoming AI-generated content. If you don’t set pronouns, they will be set determined by how the AI identifies you.
Seats
See which seat your admin has assigned to you. This controls what features are open to you in Gong.
Workspace and permission settings
This section details the permission profiles that have been assigned to you for each workspace in your organization. It is set by your admin and includes which calls you can access, which library folders you have access, whether you can create folders, add calls to the company library, and more. For more information, see About permission profiles.
Note
If your access to calls is restricted, you’ll see all calls when searching for calls, but won't be able to open the ones you don’t have access to.
Recording settings
These settings relate to how you record meetings. For example, if your company has enabled the Gong consent page to obtain participants' consent to be recorded, you'll see the dynamic link for that page here. You'll also see the link for your static personal consent page and Zoom personal room meeting link here.
Voice identification
If your org wants you to opt-into voice identification, you'll be prompted to do so here.

If your company has enabled the Gong Consent page for Zoom, you’ll see the dynamic link here.
Static link
If someone else schedules meetings on your behalf, they can use your personal Gong recording link, or your personal meeting room link, both of which are located here.
Connection to Microsoft Teams: Connect to Microsoft Teams if this is your default web conferencing system. For more information about setting up Microsoft Teams, see Microsoft Teams for consent.
Associated meeting URLs
Enter your personal meeting URLs so Gong can associate calls recorded with this URLs to you. If you use more than one type of web conferencing system, enter each URL on a new line.
Languages spoken during calls
Gong supports 70+ languages, most of which are automatically detected, so you get transcripts and insights in the correct language. If you find that we’re detecting the wrong language in your calls, you may want to set the languages you speak here. Before you do, read about setting spoken languages.
