Many types of roles can benefit from using Gong, and in many different ways. Here are some of personas that typically use Gong, and that we refer to in the Gong Help Center, to help you get an idea of how you can use Gong to get your job done, better.
Account executives / reps
You represent your company and sell its products.
Gong records your calls and gives you the opportunity to listen to the recording, follow up on action items, prepare for your next calls, and learn from experience: yours, and others on your team.
Frontline managers
You manage a group of sales reps, and it's your job to achieve sales optimization in the best possible ways.
Leverage Gong to keep track of your rep's deals, listen to their calls to give feedback and coaching, and more.
Business admin / sales enablement
Your job is to get the sales teams fitted with all the tools and resources they need to succeed.
Use Gong to keep your teams up to date, create coaching libraries, and configure business settings tailored for your organization's needs.
Tech admin
As technical admin, your role is to set up integrations and configure settings for people in your organization so they can use Gong in the most valuable way possible. In smaller companies, you may be the VP of Sales or sales ops. In larger companies, you may be someone from IT who sets up integrations. You may not use Gong in your daily work, but you set it up for others.
