Filter search results according to participants, accounts, deal information, call content, conversation analytics, collaboration activity, email data, and CRM data.
Common filters
Common filters are the filters most often used to find conversations. They are displayed by default when you open the search page and can be used to filter by participants, accounts, call content, trackers, and call titles.
Participants: Filter search results according to the team members and customers involved in them. Additional filtering includes:
Setting whether to find calls the participant hosted, attended, or was invited to.
Setting whether to find emails the participant sent or received.
Account name: Filter search results according to the account name as set in the CRM.
Words or phrases: Filter search results according to words or phrases that come up in the conversation.
Trackers: Filter search results according to whether the tracker identified phrases in the call that match the tracker definition. You can apply additional filters, such as who mentioned the phrase, or at what point in the call it came up.
Call title or email subject: Find search results according to words or phrases in the call title or email subject.
Language: Filter search results according to languages spoken in the call. This is not displayed by default.
Date: Filter search results according to the date the conversation took place. This is not displayed by default.
Call filters
Call filters allow filtering search results according to call details, conversation analytics, questions, webcam activity, screen sharing activity, and collaboration data.
Call info filters
Select these filters to filter according to general call details such as call duration, date, and type of recording system.
Call category: Filter search results according to their call category
Date: Filter search results according to the date the conversation took place
Internal call / Calls with customers: Filter search results according to internal or external calls
Web conference / Telephony: Filter search results according to whether the platform they took place on. Web conference calls are made on web conference platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet. Telephony calls are made on voice-only dialer platforms like Salesloft, Gong dialer.
Recording system: Filter search results according to the system used to record them.
Call outcome (manual): Filter search results according to dispositions set manually in your telephony system.
Call outcome (AI): Filter search results according to dispositions generated automatically by Gong AI.
Call purpose: Filter search results according to their purpose, such as introduction calls, support calls, and other telephony call types.
Call duration: Filter search results according to their duration.
Call topic: Filter search results according to the topics discussed in them. Topics are frequently mentioned subjects automatically identified by Gong.
Interaction during call filters
Filter search results according to how participants interacted during the call, including talk ratio, conversation flow, response times, and the length of monologues and customer stories.
Talk ratio: Filter search results according to the percentage of the call in which team members spoke.
Interactivity during call: Filter search results according to how often the conversation switched between team members and customers.
Patience during call: Filter search results according to how long team members waited before responding after a customer spoke.
Longest monologue during call: Filter search results according to the duration of the longest speech by a team member.
Longest customer story during call: Filter search results according to the duration of the customer's longest story.
Question filters
Filter search results according to the number and rate of questions asked by hosts and customers.
Number of host questions: Filter search results according to the number of questions asked by the host.
Number of customer questions: Filter search results according to the number of questions asked by customers.
Rate of host questions: Filter search results according to how many questions the host asked per hour.
Rate of customer questions: Filter search results according to how many questions customers asked per hour.
Webcam filters
Filter search results based on the amount of time different screens were shared during the call. These filters are based on what’s shown on the main screen of the call. The webcam is considered off when the main screen is shared, shows the browser, or shows other people talking.
Any webcam on recorded screen: Filter search results according to the amount of time any participant’s webcam is shared on the recorded screen.
Host webcam on recorded screen: Filter search results according to the amount of time the host’s webcam is shared on the recorded screen.
Customer webcam on recorded screen: Filter search results according to the amount of time the customer’s webcam is shared on the recorded screen.
Screen share filters
Filter search results according to which screens were shared during the call.
Words or phrases in slide title: Filter search results according to words or phrases in the title of a slide.
Presentation shared during call: Filter search results according to the length of time a presentation is shared on the main screen.
Web browser shared: Filter search results according to the length of time the web browser is shared on the main screen.
Collaboration filters
Filter search results according to feedback received after the call took place.
Scorecard name: Filter search results according to scorecards that were used to score the call.
Overall call score: Filter search results according to the overall score given to a call in a scorecard.
Number of call comments: Filter search results according to the number of comments made on the call. You’ll only be able to see comments you have permission to see.
Text in comment on call: Filter search results according to a specific word or phrase in a comment.
Hashtag in comments on call: Filter search results according to hashtags in a comment. Start typing and a list of the hashtags is automatically displayed in the field.
Comment on call posted by: Filter search results according to team members who have made comments on calls.
CRM filters
Filter search results according to fields imported from your CRM. You can’t filter by reference field types. If you don’t see fields you want to filter by here, contact your tech admin. CRM fields are divided into four categories:
