Who can use this: Any team member
Available on: Any Gong plan
Forgot your Gong password? You can reset it directly from the login page in just a few minutes. This article also covers what to do if you don’t see a reset option or can’t access your email.
Reset your password from the login page
Go to the Gong login page.
Enter the email address associated with your Gong account and click Continue.
Click Don’t have a password?
Click Reset password.
Open the email from Gong titled Reset your Gong password.
Click Reset password in the email.
Create a new password and re-enter it to confirm.
Return to the login page and sign in with your new password.
I don’t see a “Don’t have a password?” option
If you don’t see a password reset link, your organization most likely uses Single Sign-On (SSO).
When SSO is enabled (for example, using Google or Microsoft login as an identity provider):
Gong does not manage your password
You’ll need to sign in using your SSO button, or
Reset your password directly with your identity provider
If you’re unsure which login method your company uses, your tech admin can confirm.
I didn’t get the reset email
If the reset email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes:
Check your spam or junk folder
Make sure you entered the correct work email address
Search your inbox for emails from Gong
If you still haven’t received an email, your account may be inactive or use a different login method. Contact your tech admin for help.
I no longer have access to my email address
If you can’t access the email associated with your Gong account, you won’t be able to complete a password reset yourself.
In this case:
Contact your tech admin
They can update your account or re-invite you using a new email address
I was never asked to set a password
Some users never create a Gong password, especially if:
They logged in through an invitation link
Their account was created using SSO
If this applies to you:
Use the same login method you originally signed in with, or
Contact your tech admin if you’re unsure how your account was set up
Still need help?
If you’re unable to reset your password or sign in, contact your tech admin or IT team for next steps.
