Mobile: Navigation change

Available on: Any Gong plan

The Gong mobile app has updated navigation that makes it easier to find Search, access key actions, and move between the main areas of the app. The updated layout also uses consistent navigation patterns across the app, so you know where to find key features as you move between screens.

These changes are automatic. No setup or migration is required.

Access to specific features continues to depend on your Gong plan and permission settings.

What’s changed?

Search is available from every screen

The Search icon is now part of the main navigation bar instead of being available only from the Calls and Revenue screens. Tap Search from the main navigation to open it from anywhere in the app.

Advanced search filters are now available inside the search field. Tap the Advanced filters icon in the search field to open the available filters.

Common actions are available from one location

The floating Actions button provides access to the key actions available to you, based on your plan and access settings. Available actions may include:

• Record a meeting

• Make a call

• Submit a forecast

• Listen to a call

• Summarize a meeting

Notifications and profile moved to the top right

Notifications and profile settings are now available from the top right of the app

Tap the Notifications icon to view your notifications.

Tap your initials to open your profile, settings, help and notification options.

Actions that are specific to the screen you’re viewing may also appear in the top-right area. For example, the Calls screen may include the meeting recorder, while Revenue may include options for filtering boards.

Gong Connect is available from Actions

Gong Connect is no longer part of the main navigation bar. To make a call with Gong Connect, tap the Actions button and select Make a call.

Gong Connect appears only when it is available based on your permission settings.

Library moved under Calls

Library is now available as a tab under Calls. The Calls screen groups call filters and related tabs in one place.

Tap the call filter to switch between Your calls, Team calls, and Company calls

Deals and Forecast are available from one selector

On the Revenue screen, tap the Selector icon at the top to switch between Deals and Forecast.

What stays the same

The content and functionality of the Calls, Revenue, Notifications, Profile, and Gong Connect screens remain available, with their entry points updated as described above.

The updated navigation is available on both Android and iOS. When you install or update the app, onboarding screens highlight the main navigation changes.
