Gong exports customer interaction data to your CRM so reps can see engagement history directly on CRM records. This data includes calls, meetings, emails, and sales engagement activity captured in Gong.

By syncing Gong data to the CRM, reps can review conversations, understand recent outreach, and stay aligned on account and deal activity without leaving their CRM.

How Gong data appears depends on the CRM your company uses and how the integration is configured. Gong supports different capabilities for different CRMs, with dedicated experiences for Salesforce and Dynamics 365.

Gong in Salesforce

In Salesforce, Gong exports data as Salesforce tasks or events and, when the Gong for Salesforce app is installed, as a Gong Conversation. The Gong Conversation is a custom Gong object which displays call details, as well as a player which enables you to review the call directly in Salesforce.

This gives reps access to call recordings, conversation insights, and activity history directly in Salesforce.

Gong in Dynamics 365

In Dynamics 365, Gong exports data as CRM activities, including phone calls for telephony interactions. When the Gong for Dynamics 365 app is installed, reps can also see Engage flow information on contact and lead records.
