Who can use this: Any team member

Available on: Gong Engage

Ideal for: Sales rep

From the left sidebar, click To-dos to open your to-do list. Use the tabs, filters, grouping, and sorting options on this page to find the right items and arrange your list for the current work session.

Set up your view

Customize your view to focus on the right to-dos. By default, your to-do list shows all to-dos sorted by priority first, then by due date.

To set up your view:

  1. From the left sidebar, click To-dos.

  2. Choose how to view your to-dos:

    • Tabs: Use the flow-related tabs when you want to focus on flow work or handle outcomes and errors separately. The tabs are All, Flows, Follow-ups, Flow outcomes, and Flow errors.

    • Quick filters: Click the buttons above the list to filter by action type: Manual emails, Auto emails, Calls, Text message, LinkedIn, Tasks, and Other. Click Clear to reset them. Some buttons appear only when your company uses the related feature.

    • Manage columns: Click Manage columns at the top right to add, remove, or drag columns to reorder them. You can include any column based on fields in your CRM. Changes save automatically.

Filter your to-dos

Use filters to narrow your list to the items most relevant to your current session. You can filter by Gong data or by fields from your CRM.

To add a filter:

  1. From the left sidebar, click To-dos.

  2. Click Add filter.

  3. Select a filter from the Gong filters or CRM entity filters list.

The following table describes the Gong filters.

Sort and group your to-dos

  2. Choose how you want to organize your list:

    • Sort: Click Sort by and select how you want your to-dos ordered.

Orders by the number of email opens and link clicks over the last 30 days, counted at the contact or lead level.

See another team member's to-dos

Check what a team member has in their list, for example when covering for someone, coordinating handoffs, or making sure outreach is not being duplicated. You see a view-only list, and bulk actions are not available when viewing another team member's to-dos.

To see a team member's to-dos:

  1. From the left sidebar, click To-dos.

  2. Click the To-do assignee filter and select the team member's name.

You can also see a team member's to-dos by clicking their name in Gong to open person view, then going to the To-dos tab. In person view, to-dos assigned to others are under Assigned to others.

Frequently asked questions

Are my filter and column settings saved between sessions?

Yes. Your column changes, tab, quick filters, group, sort, and filter choices stay when you leave the page and return.

Why can't I see the local time for some contacts?

Local time is only shown for contacts or leads where location data is available.

I see a notification that some to-dos are hidden. What does that mean?

To-dos linked to deals, emails, or calls you do not have permission to see are not displayed. Contact your admin to review your permission settings.

A to-do I am expecting is not showing up. What should I check?

Work through the checks in Troubleshoot missing to-dos. Common causes include active filters, the wrong tab selected, or a permission setting hiding certain to-dos.
