Set team members up to record outbound calls on their mobile with Gong Connect.


Gong Connect is an outbound calls service.

Calling out is supported on iOS devices only (Android is not yet available), for calls in the USA and Canada only, and for organizations with a CRM integration:Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics.

What is Gong Connect?

Gong Connect is a service within the Gong mobile app that allows reps to make outbound calls; maintain key information and prepare for next steps when they're on the go. Gong Connect is a VoIP service that works with either Wi-Fi  or cellular connections.

You can set your system up so calls are automatically recorded and ingested in Gong, so account executives and frontline managers can reap the benefits of getting the full picture of deal activity for efficient pipeline reviews, including accurate warnings.

Turn on Gong Connect

Gong Connect is managed in data capture settings.

  1. Click Company settingsTeam members.

  2. In the team members table, next to the relevant person, click team-member-settings.png , and select one of the following:

    • Change data capture settings for... (person's name) to make changes to an individual

    • Change data capture settings for... (person's team) to make changes to a manager and their team

  3. Select Enable Gong Connect.

  4. Click APPLY.

Block automatic recording for certain area codes

Set recording methods for different regions so that you comply with each region's call recording regulations.
