Tracker results appear across Gong in the places where you already analyze conversation data. Navigate to the section that matches how you want to use tracker data: monitoring your team's patterns, tracking alerts, measuring strategic initiatives, reviewing deals, evaluating calls with scorecards, or exporting to Salesforce.
Team insights
Team insights shows how often each tracker is detected across your team's calls, so you can spot patterns, measure trends over time, and compare adoption across reps or teams.
To view tracker data in Team insights:
From the left sidebar, click Insights, and select Team.
Select Trackers.
Filter by tracker, Teams or Individuals, date range, and type of call to focus your analysis.
Note:
Tracker data in Team insights may be delayed while calls are reprocessed after a tracker is created or updated.
Streams
A tracker-based stream notifies you or your team when a call activates a specific tracker, so you can act on relevant conversations as they happen instead of searching for them later.
Streams are set up in the tracker configuration. When a tracker is published with a stream destination, new calls that detect the tracker appear in the stream automatically. To create a stream when publishing a tracker, see Create an AI tracker. To set up and manage streams independently, see Create and manage streams.
Initiative boards
Initiative boards use AI tracker results to measure how often a strategic topic comes up across your team's conversations, making them useful for tracking adoption of a new talk track, methodology, or focus area.
Tracker data appears on an initiative board when the initiative is configured to use a specific AI tracker as its signal. To view tracker results on an initiative board, open the board from Initiatives on the left sidebar. Each initiative shows how often the tracker was activated across the relevant calls and teams.
To set up an initiative that uses an AI tracker, see Track adoption of your strategic initiatives.
Deals
Tracker results appear on deal pages as signals, helping you identify risks, competitor mentions, or other tracked topics in your active pipeline without reviewing individual calls.
To see tracker signals on a deal, open the deal from your Deal board. Tracker hits appear in the deal activity feed alongside other call and email activity. The availability of specific tracker data on a deal depends on whether the tracker is configured to analyze calls, emails, or both, and whether the deal has associated activity within the tracker's active period.
Scorecards
AI tracker results appear within scorecards to identify relevant moments in a call for evaluation and coaching feedback. When a scorecard is configured to use a tracker, the tracker's results help evaluators locate the parts of the conversation where a tracked topic occurred.
To configure scorecards that use tracker results, see Create and manage scorecards .
Playbooks
Playbooks use AI tracker results to score methodology compliance and show AI deal review signals, so managers can see whether reps are following a specific talk track or covering required topics.
Tracker results appear within a playbook when the playbook is configured to use a tracker as one of its elements. AI trackers by Gong are commonly used here because they cover topics like pricing, competitor mentions, and risk signals without requiring custom setup. To configure a playbook, see Create and manage playbooks.
Salesforce
AI tracker results from calls are exported to Salesforce by default. They appear on the Gong Conversation record under Content > Trackers, with a [Smart] prefix. Your Gong admin can disable this export. Keyword tracker results reach Salesforce through a separate setting that must be enabled independently in each tracker's destinations.
Note:
Tracker results are exported to Salesforce for call data only and not email data.
Configuring the Salesforce integration requires CRM integration permissions. For setup, contact your Gong admin.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a tracker appear in Search but not in Team insights?
Search updates before areas like Team insights, Deals, or Initiative boards. If a tracker recently detected or was recently published with a backfill, Search shows the results first while the aggregate data catches up. This is expected behavior and typically resolves within a short time.
