Add calls and snippets to a folder

Saving a call to a folder takes a few seconds and keeps it accessible to anyone you have shared the folder with. Gong lets you save single calls from the call page as well as multiple calls at once from the Search page.

From the call page

Use this option when you are already reviewing a call and want to save it. You can add the full call and include a note that is visible to anyone with access to the folder.

To add a call from the call page:

1. Open the call page.

2. Click the Add to icon and select Add to Library.

3. In the folder picker, select where you want to save the call:    

   • Existing folder: Browse through the existing folders and select the one you want to use.

   • New folder: Hover over Your folders and click the + icon on the right. Enter a folder name and click Create.

4. (Optional) Enter a note in the note field. The note is visible to anyone with access to the folder.

5. Click Add call.

From the Search page or your home page

This is the fastest way to save a call in a file. You can do this without opening the call.

To add a call from the Search page or your home page:

1. Hover over the call and click the More actions icon, then select Add to Library.

2. In the folder picker, select where you want to save the call:    

   • Existing folder: Browse through the existing folders and select the one you want to use.

   • New folder: Hover over Your folders and click the + icon on the right. Enter a folder name and click Create.

3. (Optional) Enter a note in the note field. The note is visible to anyone with access to the folder.

4. Click Add call.

Add multiple calls at once

From Search, you can select multiple calls and add them all to the same folder.

To add multiple calls at once:

1. From the left sidebar, click Conversations, and select Search.

2. Set filters to find the calls you want to add to a folder.

3. Hover over a call you want to add and select the checkbox that appears on the left. Repeat for each call, or select all the calls on the page using the selector on the left side of the calls. This selector only appears once you’ve selected at least one call.

4. In the action bar that appears at the bottom of the screen, click Add to Library.

5. In the folder picker, select where you want to save the calls:    

   • Existing folder: Browse through the existing folders and select the one you want to use.

   • New folder: Hover over Your folders and click the + icon on the right. Enter a folder name and click Create.

6. (Optional) Enter a note in the note field. The same note applies to all selected calls.

7. Click Add calls.

Note:

Bulk add is available for full calls only. To save a snippet, use the call page instead.

Add a snippet

Snippets let you capture just the moment that matters, not the whole call. Create one directly on the call page and save it to any folder you have access to.

To add a snippet to a folder:

1. Open the call page.

2. Click the Scissors icon below the call screen. Yellow bars appear on the call timeline.

3. Drag the bars to select the portion of the call you want to save.

4. In the action menu that appears, click Add to library.

5. In the folder picker, select where you want to save the snippet:    

   • Existing folder: Browse through the existing folders and select the one you want to use.

   • New folder: Hover over Your folders and click the + icon on the right. Enter a folder name and click Create.

6. (Optional) Enter a note in the note field. The note is visible to anyone with access to the folder.

7. Click Add snippet.
