Where to go: Deals > Forecast
If you’re a quota carrier or managing quota carriers, you’ll get a reminder when it’s time to submit your forecast or your team forecast. You can then submit your numbers on the go, from the mobile app.
Quota carriers: Submit your own forecast
If you're a quota-carrier, you’ll get a reminder an hour before it’s time to submit your forecast for a specific line of business. For example, if you're set to submit your "New business" forecast every week, you'll get a weekly reminder similar to this one:
To submit your forecast:
Tap the reminder or go to Deals > Forecast.
If you tap the reminder, the board and timeframe are preselected for you. If you enter manually through Deals > Forecast, you'll need to select them. Until you submit your forecast, you’ll see whether the forecast is due or overdue:
Select the forecast category you want to update and tap its card.
Update your forecast for the selected category. Leave notes for your manager to add context.
Tap Update. When you complete all categories in a selected line of business, you’ll be notified. Your manager will be notified 2 hours after the due time.
Repeat the above steps for every line of business.
Managers: Submit your team forecast
If you’re managing quota carriers, you’ll be notified 2 hours after the forecast due time:
Relying on the reps’ submissions, submit the team’s forecast:
Tap the reminder or go to Deals > Forecast.
If you tap the reminder, the board and timeframe are preselected for you. If you enter manually through Deals > Forecast, you'll need to select them.
For each forecast category, we indicate the forecast rollup number and the number of reps who submitted their forecast. At the top, we indicate the entire line of business team rollup number, your team’s target attainment, and coverage.
Notes
If you’re managing managers, you’ll see entire team rollups rather than individual numbers.
If you’re both a manager and a quota carrier, you’ll see the option to submit your individual numbers.
Tap the team’s name to get the list of reps and their submission status. To move up the hierarchy, click
Select the forecast category you want to update and tap its card.
Update the team’s forecast number for the selected category. Leave notes for your manager to add context.
Tap Update.
Repeat the above steps for every line of business.
