How to connect

To successfully import calendar meetings and emails, you must:

• Set up either a company wide connection, or a user-by-user connection

• Set the data you want to give Gong access to:

  • calendar meetings and emails

  • calendar meetings only

• Set which data will be imported to Gong

• Set the team member’s data capture settings

Permissions required by Gong

Gong requires read-only access to the following MS Graph API permission scopes:

• Email: "https://graph.microsoft.com/mail.read"

• Calendar: "https://graph.microsoft.com/calendars.read.shared"

• Personal info: "https://graph.microsoft.com/user.read"

The user-by-user connection also requires:

• Offline access: "offline_access"

• User profile: “profile"

• Authentication: “openid"

• Email: “email"
