Find the right people to reach at an account without searching for them yourself. Recommended contacts brings together information from multiple data providers, including contact details, for the people at an account.
Note:
Recommended contacts is available on an opt-in basis, and working with it requires an Engage seat. If you don't see Recommended contacts, ask your admin to turn on Contact recommendations in the settings for your data provider integration.
Note:
Recommended contacts works with Salesforce and HubSpot CRMs only. It is governed by the Update CRM fields in Gong setting in the permission profile.
Open your recommended contacts
Open the list from an account to see suggested people to reach out to.
To open your recommended contacts:
From the left sidebar, click Engagement, and select Accounts.
Select an account.
Open the list in one of these ways:
From the recommended contacts bar at the top of the account: Click Show on the far right.
From the account menu: Click the More actions icon at the top right of the account, and select Recommended contacts.
Click a name from the list to open person view.
Work with a recommended contact
Use a recommended contact's person view to get their details and start outreach. From there, you can:
Reveal contact details from the data providers that Gong partners with, using the Reveal button. When you reveal contact details, Gong updates them in your CRM automatically.
Add the person to a flow, once you have an email address for them, either by revealing it or adding it in the CRM updater. They are then in your CRM and disappear from the recommended contacts section.
Send a one-off email or make a one-off call by clicking an email address or a phone number.
After you add someone to a flow, they appear in the contacts sections of the Account, People and Pipeline pages.
Note:
If the Reveal button is not available for a provider, talk to your admin about setting up an integration. To connect a data provider that Gong doesn't support yet, you can request it through the Gong Collective.
