You can configure company-wide settings for which conversations should be recorded. When an individual team member's settings differ from the company's settings, the individual settings are used for that team member.
Click Company settings > Data capture > Recording settings.
In the Web conference calls area, answer the following questions:
Which meetings should be recorded?
Choose between only recording calls hosted by a team member whose calls are recorded or recording calls where at least one participant's calls are recorded.
Note:
If you use the Gong bot for Zoom to record calls, you must give your Zoom users permissions to record to computer files. See Set up Zoom recording with the Gong bot
Should Gong record internal web conference calls?
Calls with participants external to the company are recorded. Here you can choose whether to record all internal calls, or only calls where at least one participant is external to the company.
Make sure your internal domains are defined in the Data protection & privacy page.
Should Gong record video?
Choose between recording audio and video, or audio only.
Select the name of the recording bot.
This is the "participant" name of the recording bot, seen by all participants, of the call. It lets participants know they are being recorded. Choose one of the following:
Recorder
Recorder by Gong
Notetaker
Gong recorder
In the All calls area, enter the threshold length for calls that should be processed.
This setting affects calls recorded using web conferencing and those imported from telephony providers.
Note:
The minimum length is 30 seconds.
