The Gong for Salesforce app has 12 custom objects, each containing different data needed to display a Gong call in Salesforce. The Gong Conversation object is the main parent object. It contains unique call details, such as the conversation title, the date of the call, duration, scope.
The 11 child objects represent elements that have a one-to-many relationship with the call, for example, trackers, topics, notes, invitees, structure, participants, interaction stats, related accounts, related contacts, related leads, and related opportunities.
When a new call is exported to Salesforce, a trigger creates the records for the child objects from JSON structured data contained in the conversation custom fields. The result is your reps get a full perspective for each call, including information such as who your main competitors are, how often they are mentioned during the sales journey, and how successful your company is compared to your competitors.
