This article describes how to select part of a call from the call timeline and the call transcript. This is referred to as creating a call snippet. Working with call snippets helps recipients quickly focus on specific information you want them to know.
After creating a snippet, you can:
-
Share it with customers or team members
-
Add it to the Library
-
Request feedback
-
Embed it into a 3rd party application
-
Create support tickets (if your system is set up with a Zendesk integration).
-
Create feature requests (if your system is set up with a Productboard integration).
Create a snippet from the call timeline
-
Open a call and select the scissors icon from the call page. The snippet action menu is displayed and two yellow bars appear on the call timeline.

Drag the bars along the call timeline to the part of the call you need. You can also select the TRANSCRIPT button to read the call transcript as you drag the bars. The area selected in the timeline is highlighted in yellow in the transcript and is anchored by pointers. You can also drag the pointers to select the snippet. Your selection is synchronized as you drag either the yellow bars or transcript pointers.

Once you select the part of the call you need, choose an option from the snippet menu.
