Who's this for?
Redact sequences of digits automatically to avoid having a record of sensitive numbers such as credit cards and IDs. Redaction is available in English calls only.
We can redact numbers equal to and above the minimum number of digits you choose. These numbers are silenced in the call's audio, and replaced with (REDACTED) in the call's transcript. Applies to calls in English only.
For example, if you set the minimum number of digits to redact, and mention "100" and "1500" on a call:
The number 100 will not be redacted (3 digits, so below the threshold)
The number 1500 will be redacted (4 digits, so meets the threshold)
Need more help on understanding what to expect? Go here.
In your company settings page, click Data Protection & Privacy.
In the Information redaction area, click EDIT.
To redact call data, select the checkbox, and then select the minimum number of digits to redact.
Once set, Gong will redact digits from new calls. Redacted information cannot be restored, even by Gong, so use this power cautiously.
