What is a rule in Gong?
Automated rules enable you to send call data to another system.

Where can I push data to?
Depending on the target, you can push data to:
Webhooks: any web destination that accepts webhooks
Zapier: any application supported by Zapier
What data is sent out from Gong?
Depending on the target, the data includes:
Webhooks: see Payload sent to webhooks
Zapier: Most of the call data is exported, including company name, participant list, media type, user ID, opportunity name, opportunity stage, account name, relevant snippet when applicable, call URL, opportunity amount, scope, and topics.
When does Gong trigger an automation rule?
As soon as a call that fits the criteria finishes processing, it triggers the rule and the data is sent out of Gong.
Will a rule still work if the person who created it can no longer access Gong?
Yes. Once a rule is created it is no longer dependent on its creator.
