Some countries require compliance documentation before you can provision phone numbers. Once submitted, you can track the status of your requests, edit drafts, and delete submissions you no longer need from the Regulatory compliance tab in Dialer setup.
If a rep needs a local number in a country where your business doesn't have a registered physical presence, you can submit individual compliance documentation on their behalf. This allows internationally distributed teams to use local numbers without requiring a local office entity.
Drafts are saved for 30 days. The page shows a running count of your submitted and approved requests.
Submit documentation for individual numbers
Required documents vary by country but typically include a government-issued ID (such as a passport) and proof of address for the individual rep.
To submit documentation for an individual number:
From the left sidebar, click Admin center.
In the Settings tab, click Dialer setup under Gong Engage.
Click the Regulatory compliance tab.
Click the
in Submit business documentation and hover over Submit individual documentation.

Scroll to the relevant country and select whether you want a Local or Mobile number.
Add the required individual information
Upload the required documents, such as passport, proof of address.
Submit for review.
Once approved, the number is added to your pooled numbers and must be assigned to the rep it was submitted for.
Submit documentation for business numbers
You can submit documentation for local or mobile numbers either when getting business numbers, or in this tab.
To submit a documentation:
From the left sidebar, click Admin center.
In the Settings tab, click Dialer setup under Gong Engage.
Click the Regulatory compliance tab.
Click Submit business documentation (not the chevron) and select the country you want to submit documentation for.

Select Local or Mobile depending on the type of phone number you want. If you have already submitted documentation, this will be marked with Draft.
Fill in the forms and submit the documentation.
Check the status of your documentation
The table on the Regulatory compliance tab shows all your submissions, including those submitted via the Business numbers tab. The table shows the country, submission date, the type of phone number the documentation is for, and current status.
To check the status of your documentation:
From the left sidebar, click Admin center.
In the Settings tab, click Dialer setup under Gong Engage.
Click the Regulatory compliance tab.
Your submissions are listed with their current status. Once a submission is approved, you can return to the Phone numbers tab to provision numbers for that country.
Edit a draft
If you started a documentation submission and have not yet submitted it, you can edit the draft before sending it for approval.
To edit a draft:
From the left sidebar, click Admin center.
In the Settings tab, click Dialer setup under Gong Engage.
Click the Regulatory compliance tab.
Find the submission you want to edit and click the More actions icon
and select Edit draft.
The draft opens for editing. Make your changes and submit when ready.
Delete a submission
Delete a submission to remove it from your compliance list. This cannot be undone.
To delete a submission:
From the left sidebar, click Admin center.
In the Settings tab, click Dialer setup under Gong Engage.
Click the Regulatory compliance tab.
Find the submission you want to delete and click the More actions [icon] icon.
Select Delete.
The submission is permanently removed from your compliance list.
