Change Engage flow status picklist options

The steps described are only required if you are upgrading from version 2.31 or below of the Gong for Salesforce app.

Starting from Gong for Salesforce version 2.32, the Engage Flow Status picklist values have been updated to provide more details about the flow status. For example, flows that are finished include the result such as, meeting booked or no reply. Changing the picklist values can’t be done as part of the upgrade process, and the new values must be set manually. This article explains how to change the picklist values after completing the upgrade.  

Check your Gong for Salesforce version

Check to see if you need to update the picklist values.

In Salesforce, go to Setup > Installed packages > Gong for Salesforce.

If the first installed version is lower than version 2.32 or the Engage Flow Status field has the old values, update the picklist values.

Update the picklist values

The Engage Flow Status field is included in the Contact and Lead objects. Make the following changes in both objects:

1. In Salesforce, go to Setup > Object Manager > Contact/Lead > Fields & Relationships.

2. Scroll down to the Values section. The Values are:

   • Active

   • Paused

   • Opted Out

   • Removed

   • Completed

   • Removed Response

   If a contact or lead was updated with a value not in this list, the value is added to the Inactive values section.

3. Click New to add the new picklist values.
   

4. Add the following picklist values:

   In progress
   Finished (replied)
   Finished (no reply)
   Finished (meeting booked)
   Finished (removed manually)
   Bounced
   Removed (other)
   To-do expired
   No license
   Person deleted
   Flow deleted

5. Click Save.

6. Deactivate the following values from the picklist:

   • Active

   • Removed

   • Completed

   • Removed Response

7. Repeat for the Lead object.

The final list of activated values for both picklists should be:

• Paused

• Opted Out

• In progress

• Finished (replied)

• Finished (no reply)

• Finished (meeting booked)

• Finished (removed manually)

• Bounced

• Removed (other)

• To-do expired

• No license

• Person deleted

• Flow deleted
