AI Builder helps enablement, RevOps, and product marketing teams create customized AI-generated content directly in Gong. It leverages your organization’s Gong data (real customer conversations, insights, and outcomes) to generate tailored, relevant, and up-to-date assets for internal enablement and go-to-market use.

Because every asset is based on actual customer interactions, the content remains consistent and aligned with your organization’s messaging.

AI Builder does not have access to the web, it only has access to your calls.

What is AI Builder?

AI Builder is an AI agent that creates structured content assets using your organization’s Gong data. Each asset is based on real calls and deals, allowing you to generate authentic, data-driven materials such as:

• Internal enablement documents: Train reps on new features, messaging, or best practices

• Sales training materials: Document workflows such as setting up scorecards or using AI tools in Gong

• Competitive battlecards: Highlight differentiators using real customer statements and market insights

• FAQs for customer-facing teams: Collect real questions and responses from customer conversations.

• Call scripts or talk tracks: Generate effective, data-backed scripts tailored for specific personas or tools.

AI Builder pulls in every relevant call, but it only uses the number it actually needs. It typically lands around 10, but that number can vary. After selecting the calls it needs, it runs deeper analysis on those to generate the final output.

By using recent calls and data, AI Builder helps teams scale content creation and keep materials current without starting from scratch.

You can generate these assets from scratch or use existing call folders or data sources in Gong to guide the content.

Who can use AI Builder?

Access to AI Builder is managed through permissions set by your admin. If you don’t see AI Builder and think you should have access, contact your admin.

You need a Foundation license to access AI Builder.

Create AI Builder assets

AI Builder uses your Gong recordings and data to build content that reflects your company’s voice, context, and reality.

The assets don’t use the following content:

• Private calls

• Calls the person creating the content doesn’t have access to

1. Click the Quick access menu on the top toolbar and select Create with AI, or go to Admin center > Agent Studio, hover over AI Builder and click Build.

   

2. Select the type of content you want to create (optional).  

3. Select a folder or stream to base the content on (optional). You can base your content on all calls in your organization or narrow the scope by selecting specific call folders for more precise results.

4. Describe the content you require. Examples are: “Create an internal training guide for Smart Trackers” or “Write a persuasive call script for selling Engage to RevOps.”

5. Click Enter to generate the content. AI Builder searches across your Gong data or in the folders and streams you specified. It then identifies relevant calls and themes, and structures the content into clear sections. Generating the content can take several minutes depending on the volume and complexity of data retrieved, and current AI engine workload and traffic levels. During this stage, you will see a Thinking… indicator, which shows the process is in progress and hasn’t stalled.

6. Review and refine. Once the content is generated, you can review, edit, and reuse it for other teams or training materials.
   

7. Click to open a new chat and create new content.

8. Click the drop down menu to switch between different content.
   

9. Click Copy to copy the text to your own document and edit it.

10. Give feedback via or . Feedback helps Gong AI improve and give you better results.

Each generated document includes citations that reference the source calls or insights, so you can easily trace back to where information came from.

Using AI Builder in other languages

AI Builder can generate content in languages other than English. Write your request in the desired language, or specify the output language, and the generated content will follow it.

When you select a folder or stream of calls in that language, AI Builder uses those calls for context.

If you don’t select a folder or stream, AI Builder searches only English calls. If your organization’s calls are mainly in another language, it may not find relevant results.

For best results in non-English languages, select a folder or stream of calls.
