What's in the CSV

Column name

Description

User

The name of the person the forecast is attributed to.

Normally, this is the same person calling their own number. However, if someone else calls the number on their behalf, we show the name of the person the forecast is for.

Email

Their email.

User CRM ID

Their user ID in your CRM.

User Status

Indicates whether the user is active or inactive, i.e. whether they are currently part of the team or not.

Use Status Change Date

Indicates when the status was set

Is Team

Indicates whether the forecast is for an individual or a team.

If the forecast is for a team, this column says TRUE.

If the forecast is for an individual, this column says FALSE.

Manager

The name of the manager of the person the forecast is attributed to.

Manager Email

Their email address.

Manager CRM ID

Their user ID in your CRM.

Period

The period the forecast submission was for, includes year, and quarter number or month number

Period Year

The year the forecast submission was for.

Period

The type of period the forecast submission was for (quarter or month)

Period value

The period the forecast submission was for.

For example, if the submission was for Q3, we show 3.

If the submission was for September, we show 9.

Week

The number of the week that the forecast was updated during the quarter (i.e. between 1-14).

Note: 0 means that the forecast was updated before the start of the quarter.

Category

Indicates the forecast category the value is for.

Value type

Indicates whether the value is a forecast or target.

Value

The forecast! Arguably the most important column of all.

Notes

Any notes made alongside the forecast.

Update date

The date the submission was made.

Start cadence

The start date and time of that week's forecast window, as per the boards' cadence set in the board settings.

End cadence

The end date and time of that week's forecast window, as per the boards' cadence setting (as above).

Submission type

Indicates whether the submission was manual, automatic, or missing:

Standard submission means the number was updated manually.

Auto calculated means the number was automatically calculated from the actual number landed on for closed months plus the forecast number for open months in the quarter (when auto-calculation is turned on in the board settings).

Missing submission means that there was no submission during the week's forecast window (as per the board cadence setting), so Gong updated the number with the previous week's number.

Good to know

  • If quarters are auto-calculated, notes for each month are shown together in the row for the relevant quarter

  • Closed-won deals are based on historical data
