The article explains how task fields are filled in Salesforce, with task subjects indicating the type of activity and potential results. Tasks created by Gong have a specific prefix for accurate reporting. Most tasks are marked as completed, except for meeting invites which are in progress until the meeting occurs. Other fields include Name (CRM contact or lead), Related to (opportunity or account), and Gong Participants Emails (list of activity participants). If the participant list exceeds 255 characters, the full list can be viewed in Gong.
This article explains how different task fields are filled in Salesforce.
The task subject includes information of which type of activity the task was created for and depending on the activity may also include the result. Each task created by Gong has the [Gong] prefix added. You can use these naming conventions to create accurate reports about your different activities.
Most tasks are assigned a status of completed, as the activities are exported after they have been completed. Only meeting invites are given a status of in progress. Once the meeting has taken place, the task is updated with the meeting details and the status is changed to completed.

Other task fields are set as follows:
Name: Either a CRM contact or lead. If no CRM contact or lead is found, the field is empty
Related to: If there is a single opportunity that can be associated with the activity, the opportunity is listed. Otherwise the account associated with the CRM contact or lead in the Name field is used.
Gong Participants Emails: If your admin configured one task be created for each Gong activity rather that separate tasks for each contact, account and opportunity, this field lists the activity participants. If the list of participants exceeds 255 characters, the full participant list isn’t displayed in Salesforce. Go to the activity in Gong to see the full participant list.
